I bought this set of strip lights to use in a lamp project. I needed a decent amount of light output with a lot of flexibility to aid in the fit. These were very easy to install in my case, as I didn’t need to use the adhesive backing so because of this, I don’t know how sticky they would be. They work as expected and seem to be well made and durable. Connectivity is a doddle as they are pre wired.

Good but not very bendable to put around corners

Ok so these are 240v and do not have self adhesive backing. This suits me. I have used literally dozens of metres of this strip. I simply fix them using super glue (you can also use cable clips but I prefer not to see fixings ) I personally think these are far superior to the 12v strips. They brighter and don't start failing and going dim after 5 meters. The one strip I have around my garden is 20 meters long and just super bright. Looks amazing. I did have 12v but it was dim and constantly failed after about 8m in length. There is also no transformer etc to deal with. Mine are plugged directly in to exterior smart sockets. Most homes are equipped with an RCD unit ( I have a separate RCD just for exterior services) so I don't personally see any safety issues. These are also totally weatherproof. Mine have been outside since last summer with no issues. Obviously everyone has their own opinion but these have worked excellently for me.

Very pleased with lights and service will deal again

Bought for lighting in my loft. The light strip is quite thick & robust so I opened it and uncoiled to test. Lights were super bright, but as I held the strip above my head to see how it would look when mounted, the lights started to flicker. We found it was the joint where the LED strip is wired to to mains wire. Any slight movement made the lights flicker or go off. The joint is clearly not robust enough. Also there was some cellophane wrapped around the joint which seemed odd. I also read another review that said the joint had come apart and exposed live wires! Needless to say it is being returned.

It's super bright, very flexible. Good quality product. Highly recommend this.

It’s not as bright as I would have liked for under my kitchen cupboards. It doesn’t have a sticky back and a few of the l.e.d’s have failed already after a month. But it was cheap and I imagine it will last a few years so I can’t really complain. Edit: item broke completely by Jan (after 4 months) but I was reimbursed when I messaged them with absolutely no trouble at all. They just wanted some pics of the broken item. I did however buy a 2m one for the other side of kitchen and whilst the brightness isn’t the best still, it is still fully working. So maybe I was just unlucky

Très bonne luminosité, découpable, et étanche. Il faut par contre changer la prise d'alimentation, pour ma part, je l'ai connecté à un détecteur de présence.
