New World Battery for PSP Battery Pack for Sony PSP 2000 & 3000 Series Model 1200mah

I bought this product but there was problem of display and it not repairable with my PSP so this product is as it is I want to return it but not able to as the time line was crossed so I hope amazon could help in this.

I'll update this review in case the replacement battery solves my issue!!! So simply put, you can see the battery draining in front of you in the Menu if you keep it open on the PSP. Then when you switch the screen off, you come back and it has Juiced back up. Now I dont know what is happening there but that's not how it should be. Its moody to charge via USB connection and in my case won't take a charge from the charger. I dont know if I want a battery that I can kill just by looking at it & it juices back when I am not looking.

At this price the battery is very decent and gives 2-3 hours of playtime on full charge. Can’t complain at this price. If you’re looking for a psp replacement battery this is the best at this price

This gave a new lease of life to my PSP 3000. I don't think it's as good as the original battery at holding charge but it's decent enough if you play for 1-2h once every few days. It takes about 2-3 hours to charge fully. At this price point, I definitely recommend it because you're probably buying this to bring your old PSP back to life and indulge in nostalgia rather than to use your PSP as a standalone gaming device.

First Pic - first 2 digits signifies the year, my old battery was from 2009 and the new one is from 2016. Battery is like the original, received the battery at about 60 charge but I kept it on charge for about 6 hours anyways like all removeable batteries. 1 hour of play time is approximately 20 to 25 percent. Full charge shows 6 hours 30 minutes to 7 hours. So far its working awesome and the seller is genuine. Definitely worth it at 1k rupees.

The battery doesn't even last 2 hours, lost 40% without doing anything. I just had the console on standby, not playing any music or games. I opened up the battery and on the cell you can see it’s written 1000mah but that’s also probably a lie, like i said the battery barely lasts two hours, i wouldn’t be surprised if the real capacity is actually lower than 1000mah.

Charge does not stay for long, but fitting wise its perfect.

This is a rare find, especially in India - a good new replacement battery for the PSP. My previous original battery swelled up and stopped working. This one slotted right in without any issues. If the remaining hours is not showing up - do not panic, charge it up to full and use it as normal. Batteries take time to calibrate the data. I have dropped photos comparing it to my old original battery. The battery life is similar to the original product - no quality issues. The first two digits of the serial number indicate the year of manufacture - 15 being 2015 - so it's 5 years old.
