Features Benylin Dry s non-drowsey is a pale brown coloured, peach flavoured Benefits The liquid contains dextromethorphan hydrobromide which is an antitussive to help stop persistent ing. Warnings or Restrictions Do not use if: •You suffer from lung disease •You are taking, or have taken in the last two weeks, drugs for depression known as Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs) •You are under 12 years old •Talk to your doctor or cist: If you have a persistent such as occurs with asthma or produces a lot of mucus (phlegm) •This medicine contains glucose and sucrose which are both sugars therefore this should be taken into account in patients with es or those intolerant to sugars. •This medicinal product contains alcohol. This can be harmful for those suffering from alcoholism. •This medicine can affect your ability to drive. Do not drive whilst taking this medicine until you know how this medicine affects you. It may be an offence to drive when taking this medicine if your ability to drive safely is affected. •Please consult your cist or doctor before using this medicine if you are currently pregnant, likely to get pregnant or feeding. •Please consult your cist or doctor if you are currently taking any other medicines as this may cause an interaction. •If you think you may be ic to any of the ingredients contained in this medicine, please seek medical advice before taking. •If you have any questions after you have bought this medication, please speak to your cist. Product Specification Active ingredient: 5 ml of Benylin Dry s contains 7.5 mg Dextromethorphan hydrobromide. Other ingredients: Sorbitol solution, glycerol, sucrose, liquid glucose, citric monohydrate, sodium benzoate (E211), caramel, saccharin sodium, imitation peach flavour, levomenthol, ethanol, carbomer and purified water. Size (150) Unit (ML) Product code: 457205 Product Uses Adults and children aged 12 years and over: take two 5 ml spoonful's four times a day. Do not take more than 4 doses in 24 hours. Do not give to children under 12 years old. Tips & Advice If anyone has too much contact a doctor or your nearest Accident and Emergency Department taking this leaflet and pack with you. You should only take this medicine as required following the dosage instructions above carefully. If you forget to take a dose, take the next dose when needed. Do not take a double dose.
