Why the new sheet which was received was covered with white dust/powder, is this harmful. What is this powder made of.?

It seems to be chalk or talc used to prevent the sheet from sticking to itself during transportation may be due to say extreme heat as material is pvc

What is the sheet thickness in mm

I did not measure the thickness. Yes, it is thin, but seems to be strong enough to be a cover for a washing machine.
