Good unit
For the $$, no complaints at all. Fairly easy assembly. All parts quite sturdy. No “bowing” of shelves, fully loaded with DVDs (books might be another matter). The clip-in dividers work very well, lock in and don’t move. The “footprint” is narrow, so some way to anchor to the wall advisable. Fairly stable even without anchoring, though. Would recommend, and would buy again.

Will bow in the center
I bought two of these and have them filled with primarily DVDs/ some blue ray. This makes it very heavy and will bow in the center it’s just inevitable. I didn’t want to add a brace and it look weird so I used blank dvd cases and placed them on the cross support wires that run front to back and that allows all my DVDs to slide in and out with ease. Some box sets are a tight fit unless you increase your spacing which will reduce your amount of DVDs to display. Given their height I highly recommend you add the supports provided at top and middle so they don’t fall on you. I used black two hole c pipe brackets at several spots down main supports. They aren’t going anywhere. They look great and display all my DVDs perfect. Some people have noted the feet are not sturdy and broke easily, but I did not have that issue. There is a YouTube video of a guy who made sturdy feet for these and I was going to do just what he did if I had his issue. Just put the product name into YouTube and it pops up as one if the first videos. If you’ve read this far and have a huge collection. These will solve your issue. The only pain is counting notches to make sure you have all 4 corners at same notch, but that’s the only issue I had . Best of luck

Good overall, arrived slightly damaged
Item arrived slightly damaged. The little bar at the back of each shelf that holds things from falling off the back was damaged or defective on a few of the shelves. Basically, the bars are not very solid to begin with and the few that are damaged are wobbly and sag. Hard to explain. Anyway, It's still usable in the current state but I will have to keep that in mind and not be too rough with it. As long as they don't completely break off, it still does what I need it to. Overall, it seems like a decent product. It is stable, easy to put together (basically the same as all other wire shelves out there). If the manufacturer ever sees this review, I would suggest they give those bars vertical attachments to the rest of the shelf too instead of just at the ends. I hate returning things unless absolutely necessary so I'm just going to deal with it as is.

Bought two and will be getting a third!
I absolutely love these. Yes, the boxes they come in are super heavy & came damaged, like they were dropped a bunch. The paint coating on one shelf was scratched, but I faced that toward the back so you cannot see the blemish. The adjustable feet allowed me to tilt the entire shelf backwards a tiny bit so the weight of the CDs does not lean it forward. For a shelf this tall (12 tier), it is surprisingly stable and low profile. These are definitely the least obtrusive shelves to fit the most media. I really like the fact you can adjust the height of each shelf when putting it together to accommodate special packaging cds. Fully loaded, the weight of the CDs does cause the shelves to deflect and bow just a bit. Unless you are staring directly at the shelf, it isn't really noticeable. The fact these are metal gives them a high quality, industrial look. It takes less than an hour to put together an entire shelf. You can do it on your own, but a second person makes it easier when placing the first shelf over the four loose legs. If you have a lot of DVD or CDs, get this shelf.

Sturdy Movie Shelf at a Great Price
We have purchased three of these shelves because of the gunmetal color that makes them look snazzy. They are easy enough to set up after getting the first shelf situation to act as a structural base. We have had them for about half a year and there has been no bowing in the middle of the shelves. We use them for a mixture of 4k blu rays and PS4/PS5 games and the functionality is awesome as the shelves can be placed at variable heights for whatever the needed purpose. Happy with the quality and happy with the price.

Perfect Shelves For My Movies.
These shelves are great. Each shelf holds about 48 dvds. I was able to use 10 shelves on each unit. Assembly was easy and quick once you get going. We used the straps that came with the unit but my husband wanted to use his own hardware and not the plastic ones that were packaged with the straps. You must use the straps or the unit will not be sturdy. They are very sturdy once strapped. I'm very pleased with the product except for one issue; one of the boxes was beaten up pretty good and two of the shelves inside were bent. We didn't need all the shelves anyhow so it wasn't a big deal to us.

I absolutely love this product. It was very easy to assemble, and sits flat even on slightly uneven concrete basement floor. If you are measuring the shelves to standard DVD height you will only get 9 on the unit, but they are quite wide and hold a lot. They are not as deep as using a book shelf, which is great for not wasting space. I have also stored some small to midsize board games on this unit and they fit well. This product is worth the $200, I would definitely buy it again.

I used the two halves together side by side to make a combined rack that fitted into a wall cavity. Perfect!

I have a massive DVD collection, but could never afford the expensive media units that would only hold about 500 movies. When I saw this pop up on my homepage for under $200, I read the mostly positive reviews and decided to order one and see how it worked out. First Impressions: -It's a bit tedious to put together at first and the instructions/diagrams aren't the clearest. The Hardware chart lists a piece labelled #2 (see attached photo), but I couldn't find them anywhere in the box. Turns out they arrive in the box ALREADY attached to the Base Rods, which makes me wonder why they are listed with all the other seperate parts. Figured I'd include it in here incase anyone else is confused when they go to put it together. -It can be very awkward to try and hold the poles and slide the shelves on all by yourself the first time. If you have someone handy, it could help speed things up if they hold things in place. -The instructions also say to attach the Base AND Top rods together right off the bat, which can be difficult for shorter people when you are trying to reach over your head to slide the shelves onto the poles while trying to balance and line the shelf holes up with the tops of the poles. I recommend leaving them seperate to begin - add the first few shelves to the Base Rods and THEN add the Top Rods. I found it creates a sturdier foundation and saves from arm fatigue. -The plastic Shelf Stoppers (Hardware #3) are not the best. They don't always click into place on the rod grooves as easily as you'd like, and sometimes they aren't quite big enough to wrap around the entire pole securely. You do receive one extra stopper though incase one is too defective to use. As long as they grip onto the pole enough to allow you to slide the shelf into place, you should be fine. -Use a thicker Dvd/Box Set when measuring the spacing of each shelf to allow space for different types of cases/boxes. If you do this from the beginning, you won't have to go back and readjust the shelves when you find that some Dvd sets are just SLIGHTLY too big to fit compared to standard dvd cases. -The feet are plastic discs with a thin layer of foam on the bottom. You can screw them in to be at different heights, but they DO NOT lock into place. Even if you screw them completely into the Base Rods, they are not always secure and will keep turning. They are the exact same width as the shelf itself (which is just slightly bigger than a standard dvd case), so it is not a wide and sturdy base. The units come with straps to put on the back about 3/4 up the unit and screw into the wall to keep the shelf in place - mostly useful if you plan on using in a room with plush carpets or if the units end up being too top heavy. Something to keep in mind. -Since the unit is made for CDs and DVDs, you will likely end up with extra shelves if you are measuring for the movies rather than music. I put an extra shelf at the top and bottom of my units to help balance weight and create a sturdier base (also to avoid having random shelves lying around). -The rods/shelves are strong, but NOT rod iron - they can bend and shift during transit as per other reviews. Only the shelves arrived ever so slightly bent for me, and some were easily bent back into place(ish). Mostly it was the back bars on the shelves that arrived pushed down, and since these go at the back against the wall, it doesn't make much of a difference. If you try and push/pull too hard, they could pop where they are welded together. Keep in mind you are paying less than $200 and it is coming in transit. If it comes too damaged to put together, reach out to Amazon. Transit issues are not necessarily product issues. Overall I am VERY happy with this purchase, and ended up ordering a second one as soon as I put together my first unit. I'm even considering buying a third to have for when my collection continues to grow. They line the walls perfectly and are narrow enough (again, about as wide as a dvd case) that I can put them even in rooms with already limited space. They are fairly easy to assemble once you get the hang of it/ use the tips from reviewers. And for the price, it it arrives undamaged and undefective, you do get your money's worth.

This is an excellent way to store your CDs or DVDs. Very sturdy construction, comes with a wall anchor and shelf dividers.
