Can I adjust the weighting/power of this? I only want it to be very light/gentle.

There’s a screw park in there the tighter the screw the harder the door will close

canthis be used on a garden attached to a wall

If you can recess the barrel into the garden gate by the required dimensions, it would be an easier install than drilling a 22mm hole that deep into brickwork, however, it’s construction can be utilised either way.

Does this chain unit also hold & keep the door fully open upon full extension please?

No it doesn’t hold, you can use a wedge to keep it open if you don’t find one that does
