Dark roast is better than regular peanut butter IMHO
This peanut butter has a great flavor. I don’t like regular peanut butter anymore after eating this for a while. Dark roasting makes it taste more rich and flavorful.

Delicious!
The best peanut butter ever, I like that it is dark roasted. It does separate but that further says they probably don’t use some emulsifiers. I turn my jar upside down and then stir to mix in the peanut oils with the solids each time I open it as it gets very thick on the bottom. No added sugar and if it had salt I cannot tell.
