It does not stand well on the violin and we have to use a rubber band on one if the metal hooks as it would scratch the violinNot good for packing away as it requires a compartment - not ideal for use

my daughters violin teacher says this is not a good type of rest. I don't pretend to know but she says the bigger, more expensive ones are better
