Bought this for my 2020 Ram 1500 with the Ecodiesel. Fit and works great. Keeps it between 185-192 degrees depending on temp outside and the load you’re putting on it. Can’t go wrong with this for the price. Super easy to install and it’s a great upgrade over the plastic units out there

Car Type: Jeep Wrangler JK- 3.6L- 2015- “Penny”- Installed 12/1/25— So I put this thermostat in as a budget option to the Mishimoto stat, (only due time restriction, this was overnight in my area compared to the 4 day wait I could not afford. By ALL MEANS do not always trust budget friendly options when it comes to car parts. I got in person reviews from local mechanics who work on various pentastar engines) With that said: I am shocked by this product’s quality! It is a solid piece of aluminum, some minor scratches, but no dents or anything wrong with inner components/ well packaged. This thermostat was literally “plug in and play” and with a nicely designed gasket ring. My Jeep was previously overheating regularly, after diagnosing the thermostat was the issue this replacement has been flawless. My gal Penny has been back at highway speeds (65mph) with the heat dial staying solid in the center. Im even getting a lil lead foot here and there, drifting to mid 70s staying at the top of 2nd and casually engaging the turbo for “highway merging”. :) Great replacement, simple install, no issues to date! 5 stars!

The car was running cold so needed a replacement thermostat. The stock parts are plastic and very brittle, actually broke into several pieces when removing the hose. This is aluminum, sturdy and a perfect fit, and only a few dollars more for high quality. I may get a second just for backup.

This housing and thermostat work welll. I purchased this in Jan 2025 and installed it with a new waterpump, belt, radiator hoses, and belt tensioner. When doing this I flushed the radiator and engine block well. From January all through the summer, my Dodge Caravan Crew ran great. The Temperature needle was straight up where it should be and the temperature ran from 200F-205F. However when winter just kicked in a couple weeks ago, my Van would not warm up. Pulled my thermostat out anf found the gasket at the bottom where it mounts in the housing had come loose. See photo. You can't just buy a thermostat for this model. You have to replace the whole housing also. It's a matched set. That actually sucks, because you have to take the housing out of the hose etc. It would be nice just to be able to pop the bad thermostat out and pop a new one in. You should be able to get more than 10 months out of this producrt.

High praise in the thermostat housing world, honestly. The OEM plastic housing on the Chrysler Town & Country is a ticking time bomb — if yours hasn't gotten stuck open yet, it's just being dramatic about the timing. This aluminum upgrade is the fix you do once and stop thinking about forever, which is the dream for any minivan part. Install was straightforward, fits the 2012 T&C perfectly, and as of 6,000 miles later the engine is still at operating temp and not a puddle in my driveway. I consider that a win. The coolant is where I put it. The van goes where I point it. We have an understanding. Could I have paid a shop to replace it with another plastic one that will fail in three years? Absolutely. Did I? No. Buy more tools, don't pay labor — and while you're at it, buy the aluminum housing and stop gambling with a plastic part that was clearly designed by someone who has never been stranded in a parking lot with three kids and a slow coolant leak. Cautiously optimistic. Will update if it explodes.

Fit perfectly and is metal no plastic like the original. Engine code delete it self right away. Dodge caravan 2015

Good product to replace the pesky mopar plastic part. Broke 2 mopar thermostat housings on the bleeder valve few years apart and said I’ve had enough and upgraded to aluminum housing. For a peace of mind, use your oem thermostat or buy a new one and use it.

Oh Nooooooo it not opensometimes gets stuck, doesn’t open!!!, and causes sudden high temperatures, which is very dangerous for the engine. You can lose your engine in seconds if you don’t notice your car’s temperature. I do not recommend it — it’s extremely dangerous.

I bought this a while ago and finally got around to replacing the old plastic one. Build quality is great, Fitment was perfect and it functions as it should.
