I wanted to find a budget friendly crimper for my wigs when I cosplay, and this works great! It heats up fast, the crimp holds nicely and stays in the wig even after a long day at a convention. The size is great and not too bulky which makes it easy to use. Great for the price!

I really urge anyone to buy this affordable crimper for styling wigs. I am going to a con soon and needed this for 3 wigs. There are 5 heat settings, I usually use the first and second heating option to crimp my synthetic wigs. It also comes with a heat resistant glove so you can handle the hair after using heat on it. Note that it uses Celsius rather than degrees Fahrenheit if you are in the US. Also, please make sure your synthetic wigs are heat safe so that you don’t melt the fibers. You can see the difference in hair that has not been crimped vs hair that has. Great purchase.

Bought this for wig styling due to the affordability. Took it out of the box, let it heat up, and went to crimping. When I finished my strand and went to put it down, it turned itself off. Okay... I turned it back on, waited again for it to heat up, and crimped another strand. Same thing, it turned off. I went back and forth with this thing: set it down, turn it on, wait, crimp, repeat for about an hour and now it no longer turns back on. I thought maybe the lights were the issue, but nope. Its a goner. Save your money, time, and sanity and just get a different crimper.

This is my first crimping iron so I don’t have a frame of reference, but this one does the job nicely for me. I only need to set it the lowest temp, and my hair stays crimped until my next wash. I’ve been using it pretty frequently for a couple months and it’s holding up.

Bought for wig crimping. Definitely works, and you can’t beat the price. Obviously not the strongest crimping power or compressed crimp waves; I found the highest setting to make the deepest crimps, but felt the wig fibers burn too much to get it back smoothly looking after crimping; the second highest setting doesn’t crimp as pronounced, but also doesn’t burn the wig hair, so it’s slower progress. 4 stars for the fact that it does what I needed it to for very cheap, but there’s probably better out there.

the crimper is great! i only use this for cosplay wigs and not human hair so it does not damage the hair, heat output is very good and comes with a heat glove, size is good but crimping requires a lot of time and patience do it in small sections. portability yes, speed very quick

Excellent for the price! It has several temperature settings. It creates beautiful waves and good volume for fine hair. I recommend it!
