Berry Beautiful Red Raspberry Seed Oil Cold-Pressed in Washington, 1 Gallon

Around 2003 and concerned about the toxicity of applying an aluminum based deodorant underarms, I switched to a non-aluminum deodorant and used that same brand for about 15 years when all of a sudden that deodorant started causing dryness and itching that was most uncomfortable. I suspect the manufacturer had somehow changed the formulation; maybe one of the ingredients in it had become GMO. I had been using Berry Beautiful Red Raspberry seed oil on my face and hands and knew it was soothing and absorbed easily, so I grabbed it to quell the itching and treat my irritated underarms. When I tried the deodorant again, the itching started up again, so I just used the red raspberry seed oil, and soon I noticed that my underarms were fine using no product other than the Red Raspberry seed oil. Just the Red Raspberry seed oil was enough to keep my body odors at a socially acceptable level. Thinking maybe something was weird with me, I filled a little roller bottle with the Red Raspberry seed oil and gave it to a good friend, sharing what my experience had been and asking her to give it a try and let me know her experience. When I saw her again after almost two weeks, she said that she had been using it daily and loved it. She said it worked for her as a deodorant, and added that sometimes she did need to apply it a second time during the day. I find the combination of showering and using the oil lasts through the day, but that both together work better as compared to just using the oil on the second day without showering first. I want to comment also that I purchased the organic version of this oil and could not tell the difference. Maybe there is a difference, but just not one that is noticeable to me. Since this product has a lower price, I am satisfied using it. I also have purchased the Berry Beautiful Cranberry Seed oil, and find it works pretty much the same on my skin as this oil does. I think the red raspberry seed oil has a slightly nicer scent. Since the oil absorbs so easily into the skin, there has been no problem with clothing becoming stained. I certainly never expected this outcome but am definitely pleased. Lastly, I find that using a roller bottle is the perfect way to apply this oil, as it goes on easily without ever being an excessive amount; no guessing, no spilling, and once I use fingers to smooth it in, I'm good to go. A little goes a very long way.

I love the light scent, how quickly it absorbs, and how my skin feels soft and moisturized. It's only been a few days but I am very glad I gave this oil and company a chance. I have been moisturizing with argan oil and rose hip oil for years now. Conventional cream moisturizers cause breakouts for me (sensitive + combination skin). I have also tried marula oil and blue tansy oil so I'm no stranger to facial oils. This oil from Berry beautiful is not an essential oil, so buyers should not expect an overwhelming scent. As a face/carrier oil, the scent is light but also deep. It dissipates within minutes and reminds me of rose hip oil but with more berry undertones. This raspberry seed oil absorbs fast! Especially compared to argan oil. People who hesitate to moisturize with oil should give either this oil or rose hip oil a try. I will be mixing this oil with argan and rose hip oils because I already have them on hand. I use about 5 drops all over my face morning and night after a serum. I would love to try cranberry oil from this company as well after this very positive experience. Thank you for making this product available! The packaging is eco friendly and the bottle arrived safe and sound nestled in paper in a cardboard box. I appreciate the thought that went into the packaging.

I started looking for a product I could use that had sunscreen mixed in with a daily moisturizer without compromising quality and also not having all those really bad chemicals that can cause more harm than good. (Avobenzone) I have a holistic background and knew there are several natural products that can be used as a sunscreen. When I came across raspberry seed oil being a natural sunscreen and being able to block UVA and UVB rays, I had to try it. Looked at several products and came across this one. I like the small business feel. I like they make their products in small batches. I like that they put a lot number and expiration information on the bottle. I have been using this oil on my face in the mornings underneath a daily moisturizer and I absolutely love it. I have drier skin so the extra oil feel doesn’t bother me. But this oil does absorb well into the skin and I have no problems wearing it under my make up. Like I stated it is an oil so it will have that glistening shine to it while on your face until it is fully absorbed. The smell is not bad at all. It has a faint raspberry earthy smell but nothing that is over powering or would make you gag. Also for the sunscreen part, I am outside a lot in the southern sun and I have yet to be burned on my face while outside. It has done great at keeping me from being burned on hot sunny days. Also the oil does not run into your eyes either. Lastly it is a great price. You can’t beat the cost for a small business product. Overall love this product and everything about it. Definitely a great skin care product to add to your routine.

I dont often write reviews but I just had to for this is without a doubt the very best beauty product I have EVER found. I have spent more money that I care to think about on all kinds of skincare . Nothing compares to this wonderful Raspberry seed oil. I stumbled upon it while searching for a single product that I could use mostly for travel rather then carrying many products. Well Raspberry seed oil caught my eye and I looked at several different brands and stumbled across Berry Beautiful I really liked there website and it gave me enough information to decide to try it. Well living in Arizona it is incredibly dry so I thought lets see how this works. I put in on the first night ( it feels like a nice oil not too heavy and not like it is watered down) this oil sunk right in felt so so nice on my skin and when I woke up for the first time in years my face felt like it was still moisturizer I was sold . I used it in the morning and the small amount of liquid bronzer I wear went on like a charm. Absolutely WONDERFUL customer service ( small family owned company) so a real person answered the phone! They answered all my questions and told me to call back anytime. I am ordering the 8oz bottle to remove my makeup wash my face and moisturizer my entire body!! Wish I had known about this before I threw all that money into skincare loaded with chemicals telling you need one product for this and another for that Try this Raspberry seed oil you wont be disappointed Thank you so much Berry Beautiful

I've used this oil as my moisturizer for only 2 1/2 weeks or so, but I really like it so far...almost love it. Nearly everything makes me breakout and I've been struggling with acne (cystic, congested/enlarged pores, greasy yet dehydrated skin, etc.) for 28 years. This oil makes my skin feel so comfortable...after gently washing with only water and maybe a wash cloth, spritz some rose water, then this oil...SIGH~ Really, no pulling or tightness, no burning or sensitivity, no shellacked high shine, just comfort. I've tried countless amounts of products and treatments over the years, and this oil is really really great. The smell isn't great, a tiny hint of kinda acetone-like smell, but its very subtle and not noticeable after a minute or two. For me, who is quite sensitive to scents, its totally a do-able trade off for the benefit. Since I started using this oil, I feel like its helping to make old clogs of sebum and junk surface (wishful thinking?). My self care wash routine has evolved to only shampoo every other day, wash cloth 2 to 3x's a week, spray pure rose water, and this oil. From years of Retin-A, Accutane, Benzoyl peroxide, anti-biotics, Spironolactone, Clarisonic, olive oil, jojoba oil, grape seed oil, professional facials, medical extractions, laser, light therapy, etc, etc, etc. I've pared down to this simple routine and its been the most comfortable I've been in my skin for a long time. Does my complexion look better? No, not dramatically, but I sure feel TONS BETTER. Only gripe is that the price has creeped up $3 since I made my purchase. Is it the raspberry harvest or the market or something effecting the cost to go up $3 in 2 1/2 wks? I hope its not just because of the increased popularity of this oil. I'll update this review once I've used this oil for longer.

I love this product! I use this on my homemade sunscreen, since it has a spf around 40 to 50, I also include this in my homemade moisturizers and facial oil. Here are some of the key benefits to the amazing oil: -Absorbs UV-B and UV-C so useful as a broad spectrum sunscreen* -Anti-inflammatory due to high content of alpha linolenic acid -Anti-aging benefits due to content of ellegic acid (an anti oxidant). -Very high in Vitamin E – an antioxidant. Which is important to prevent skin cancer -Helps reduce trans epidermal water loss thereby helping to keep skin moisturized -Repair skin damaged by environmental factors including sun damage Here are some more information of Raspberry Seed Oil: ESSENTIAL FATTY ACIDS Red raspberry seed oil contains 83% essential fatty acids (EFAs). According to Naturopathica, “EFAs are necessary for proper skin function… Increasing the levels of key EFAs increases call membrane fluidity, enhances barrier function and repair, decreases trans-epidermal water loss, improves moisturization, cell signaling, cell immunity, and anti-inflammatory activity.” For these reasons, EFAs greatly soothe and remedy skin conditions such as acne, eczema, and psoriasis. VITAMIN E Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin and potent antioxidant that protects cells from free radical damage. Free radicals affect the skin cells by causing wrinkles, loss of elasticity, and age spots. Vitamin E therefore protects the skin from these common signs of aging. POLYPHENOLS Polyphenols are potent antioxidants. You may have heard of these before since green tea, red wine, and olives are also rich in polyphenols — one of the main reasons they are so healthy! Studies have shown that when applied to the skin, polyphenols protect the skin from ultraviolet radiation and enhance skin cell regeneration, improving tone and elasticity. NATURAL SPF PROPERTIES A 2000 study found that the UVA and UVB protection afforded by raspberry seed oil is reportedly similar to titanium dioxide with an SPF protection factor against UVB rays of 28-50, and an SPF protection factor against UVA rays of around 8.

Excellent quality oil! Love the packaging and supporting a small business. I have combo/oily acne prone skin and am transitioning to more natural cosmetics when I can. I used natural physical sunscreens on my face for years but living in Houston humidity made my face a grease ball, and they exacerbated my adult acne. Then I switched to clear sunscreen. I use to buy all of my fancy sunscreen at Sephora. But I've given up paying $40+ for limited protection and lots of chemicals your skin doesn't need. This has an spf of at least 25 and I'm good with that on my face for daily wear to and from work. Of course, if I am going to be in the sun for hours, doing yard work or traveling, I will apply something more heavy duty for protection. However, for daily use on my face I absolutely love this oil. I use about 5 drops after toner, before moisturizer. It is definitely a dry oil and is not greasy at all once it absorbs. It feels luxurious, no scent, and light. It has antibacterial qualities and is very nourishing. I don't get dry spots on my face any more, and this soothes irritation and redness when I have a breakout. Very pleased!

This oil is great, within a week I can tell a big difference in my face. I was recently diagnosed with eczema on my face of all places and there were dark areas over a large part of my face, the medication my doctor prescribed caused another reddish rash in some places so rather than going through multiple expensive creams, I looked for a more natural remedy and WOW this works. A plus was its SPF level so that I don't need additional sunscreen which was another issue because most sunscreens for me was either too oily or too drying on my skin. Red Raspberry Seed Oil is not too oily or drying, it absorbs into my skin leaving it feeling rejuvenated and it has a nice smell to it. For my hair, once again practically everything else I tried left my hair looking dull by the middle of the day. This gives me a shine that last. I am so pleased with this product.
