I had been looking for an unlined wool coat ever since my friend came back from Italy with one. Ignore reviews that say the material is not good. This is what fine wool material feels like. And for reviewers who complained about no lining, I found 3 different places in the listing that stated "unlined". You will need to steam wrinkles out. Then store on a coat hanger. It is very sophisticated and classy. Lots of compliments.

The coat is beautiful, but it much longer on me than the model. I’m 5’3” and the bottom hits mid-calf.

never received more compliments on a coat. They're so warm and so thin it's insane. The wool is very genuine and keeps you warm in -15 no joke. I wore it and a sweater underneath in Denver with no problem at all and it doesn't make you overheat. I couldn't resist and bought the brown one too. I love Tahari

Feels and looks like felt from kindergarten class crafts. Needs to be lined for the price they are asking.fit was a little small (I ordered a Med. I'm a size 8) Returned.

It’s a nice coat, and I really like the design of it, but my usual size was huge on me.

I've been looking on and off for a black coat for about three years without much success. I had seen one I loved in a catalog a few years back but was put off by the $700 price tag. That said, this Tahari coat is nearly identical, if with a more interesting collar. The cashmere, double-sided without a lining, is elegant which makes it the prefect coat for spring and fall, or year-round in New York City where it never seems to get all that cold anymore.The reviews mentioned it ran small ( I'm size 10) so I ordered a medium, and it's perfect. The sleeves are cut narrow, so I wont be wearing any heavy sweaters under it. The coat is belted, but I wore it open today ( 36 degrees, sunny and and windy) with a silk scarf and it looked smashing. Don't delay.

This is a well made coat that is nicely fitted. However, because it is unlined, it is also quite scratchy. You would have to wear long sleeves and a scarf to be comfortable in it.
