Clockwork Angels is a steampunk fantasy adventure—and an innovative multimedia feast! Based on a story and lyrics by legendary drummer Neil Peart, Clockwork Angels became the worldwide bestselling concept album by Rush and was developed into a New York Times bestselling and award-winning novel by Kevin J. Anderson. Anderson and Peart, working with comics artist Nick Robles, brought the epic tale to a visual canvas, a six-issue graphic novel published by BOOM! Studios. Clockwork Angels: The Comic Scripts pulls aside the creative curtain, showing the original scripts, panel by panel, interactions between author and artist, as well as all the secret “Easter eggs” intentionally planted throughout the images as a special treat for Rush fans. Clockwork Angels: The Comic Scripts is a fascinating book in its own right, to be studied by comic writers, Rush fans, Kevin J. Anderson fans—and anyone interested in a truly astonishing story of a young man’s journey across a remarkable steampunk landscape with airships, pirates, alchemy, lost cities, a fabulous carnival, and a hero who insists on making his dreams come true. Review: good book - well done. Review: Total waste of money ! Why does it exist ? A book with script of the story. - total waste of money. This book is nothing like the real book. It is one full book with lines, ideas for the story "script" of the story. it is not even worth having in my Neil Peart' s book collection. I wish I could give it to somebody ! Very bad buy.

No comic strips, just text
If you were thinking of seeing the comic strips, forget it. None. Just the text to the comic strips.

Not much here...
I should have read the reviews before my purchase. Imagine a graphic novel without any pictures, that's what this is. There is really nothing here, maybe a half dozen B&W pictures, a few paragraphs of new text. A glance at the cover made it look like it is a compilation of the graphic novels, but it just the text and a description of graphics for each panel of the series. The Clockwork Angels NOVEL was a really enjoyable read and I would recommend it very highly - I got my brother to buy it, in fact. This book, not so much, I returned it for refund.
