OK so is air crisp setting the same as air fry?

I think it would be the same. Instead of calling it air fry they call it air crisp. I have used recipes for air fryers with the same setting on the Ninja.

What is the main difference between this dg551 (2nd gen) vs the older fg551?

The DG551 model is the second generation of the Smart XL 6-in-1 series of indoor grills. It has all the same features of the older FG551 Gen 1 model. The only difference is it has an updated design and is about 8 pounds lighter.

Only for those who know, please. What would be the best way, if any, to prepare wings in this grill?

Make sure you set your grill to medium, and check your food often so it doesn't get overdone or burnt
