A Miracle Elixir
Oh. My. Goodness. I have been suffering from allergies for about 12 or so years, only since growing older. Living in the relatively mild PNW, allergy season can start by the beginning of March, usually with a tickle starting in my throat, then progressing into my chest, and followed by a congested nose when I try to fall asleep. I purchased a bottle of Urban Moonshine close to a year ago and stuck it in the fridge unopened, reluctant to actually use it. This year with a very early spring arriving after a super mild winter, I am in worse shape than ever. Nothing I typically use is helping as well or as long as it used to. Out of desperation, I retrieved the Moonshine bottle from the fridge, checked it wasn't expired, and took the recommended dose. That was about 2 hours ago and I started noticing a difference after about a half hour. I am now lying in bed, breathing clearly and without a nagging tickle in my throat or chest So now I need to get over mentally kicking myself for not trying it a year ago and just embrace the joy of breathing clearly and without hacking so I can relax and fall asleep. If you suffer from the same issues, just buy it now and use it as soon as it arrives. Don't be like me and wait a year...

Really works...tastes awful but doesn't matter
Excellent product works incredibly well. Tastes absolutely horrible...as it should, but gets the job done

Works like cough syrup used to!
This is the right kind of dastardly potion! This is just like the childhood syrup that mama used to make you swallow. It goes down warm and u know it’s gonna help. The flavor was fine for me. It’s a little bit pinetreeish but so is gin folks! I knew this would be effective like cough syrup used to be. I’m so pleased with it.

Great except bottle design
I’m actually really like this product as it helps “dry me out” at night. I don’t wake-up with as much nasal congestion and I feel it’s helping the constant cough and chest gurgling I’ve ever since having Covid twice. The problem is the bottle design; most of the liquid drips down the side of bottle creating a sticky mess down the bottle and on my counter. I’ve wasted a lot of the medicine trying to get it into a spoon. I’m waiting for a dropper I’ve ordered on Amazon to help control the dose and the pour. The liquid tastes like a gross shot of whiskey but leaves a nice herbal aftertaste. Overall I’ll keep using it but it’s too expensive to come in such wasteful packaging, they should add a dropper to the screw lid.

Was a disaster for me.
I know that every person has his or her own reaction to foods, medications, whatever, so this is not meant to be a universal statement, but only a particular, cautionary tale. I began taking this when I was just turning the corner on a weeks-long chest cold and was looking to give my immune system and bronchial passages a boost. Took one dose a few days, then two on another day, and I began noticing a distinct return of a sore throat I had been battling off and on for weeks. Only this one was quite a bit different, coming much higher up and affecting the soft palate, tongue and roof of my mouth, which became highly abraded and irritated, like the area had been scraped with an instrument or pumice stone. Also felt like a soft gob of phlegm was permanently lodged in my throat, unable to be expelled. (Sorry for the graphic detail...) Had never experienced a sore throat even remotely like this in my entire life. This lasted about a week, and while I simply attributed it to the cold I'd been fighting, I did discontinue use of Clear Chest simply because it stung the abraded parts of my soft palate, and I wanted to give the whole area some rest. Fast forward some 2-3 weeks, all healed up now. Had the Clear Chest on hand, and what with Covid-19 still rampant, I figured I'd renew my effort to boost my bronchial health, so I took another teaspoon, one small dose, one morning. By early afternoon, the soft ball of immovable phlegm was back, along with the abraded soft palate that made me extremely sensitive once again to all but the most bland foods and liquids. And it lasted an entire week once again. BIG bummer, with the obvious conclusion my system and this item do not agree with each other. Whatever else I may say about it, it is obvious this is powerful medicine, not just some junk water-based liquid that someone flavors up and pours in a bottle. Problem for me was my system had an extremely adverse reaction, so caveat emptor, for sure, with my best advice being to start out very slow, with maybe half a dose, to see what happens, and proceed with caution.
