Intricate and detailed....
This is my third kit and my plan is to buzz through every kit they make. These are so very intricate and you need a lot of patience. I have a few suggestions: 1. Get a stand alone magnifying glass. You will be able to see much better since these kits are half the size of normal kits (which are 1:12) 2. Get a really sharp exacto knife. You need this to cut out the paper items, which are very small. 3. They can't ship glue overseas, and I've read a few reviews complaining about that. Suck it up. Go buy your own. Get Elmer's for regular gluing and Alene's tacky glue for when you glue fabric. Use small brushes to brush the glue on. I don't recommend wood glue, as it dries very intact and if you need to gently take the item apart and reset, you run the risk of breaking the item pieces apart and ruining the pieces. 4. This is the one thing I wish I would have figured out earlier: some of the items are also printed on paper. This means if you have, say, fabric that is labeled C23, there is also a section of paper labeled C23 and you need to find the tracer on that paper and use that tracer for the fabric (or picture frame, etc) in the next step. Download the Google translate app on your phone and you can easily decipher what each tracer says on the paper. I love these kits and the amount of enjoyment I get from them far outweighs the amount of time it takes to make the kits. In fact, that's what makes it so much fun. I have also found missing parts and the company has always been responsive in getting back to me to send the parts. So don't worry about that. All in all, these are so worth the money and if you enjoy miniatures and a challenge, these are for you.

It is cute, but . . .
This is the second miniature house kit I have tried, and like with the first one, the instructions are seriously lacking. Some steps are skipped, and sometimes the written portion is just gibberish. Only buy this kit if you have access to YouTube videos of others constructing the kit. Also, only use the proper glue. I bought Topenca Liquid Silicone, clear craft glue, from Amazon. It works so well. Yes, it tends to be a little "stringy" but it holds quickly, still giving you time to adjust. Also, be prepared if something is missing in the kit. In my case, the "red foam particles" are missing, and they are called for in the construction of about 10 of the small items. I had some red seed beads which I used instead. My kit did come with the music box, but the battery was missing. I bought a package of LR1130 AG10 batteries. It takes two batteries and you stack them like pancakes in the battery case. The dog playing the piano is cute.

Wasn't sure what I bought and boy was i surprised to see. It did take me awhile to put it together as I never had one.

Flimsy acrylic cover- Christmas tree lights do not work
This is a cute Christmas room. Pretty nice project for the cost. My real issue is the acrylic sheets that were included to make the cover were so thin that they weren't even feasible to use. I had to spend an extra $20.00 for a case. Update: finally completed only to find the Christmas lights do not work. Guess I would call this kit a real dud!

Fun to do
I have done several house kits. I enjoyed doing this house. Some of the smaller items gave me a problem with my big fingers. But all in all it was a fun project. I liked the Christmas theme and the fact that the tree had an actual string of white lights.

Glue and tools make it easier.
This kit is very specific and I had to reorder it because the lights broke and can't be replaced. However I have learned so much from the first kit this time it's better and easier. TIP: GLUE! Get different glues. Plastic. Fabric and gorilla glues. It makes all the difference. Have fun.
