Does the job
I installed one of these 25 years ago, inline in the house, to control my 1-1/2 HP pool pump during the summer, and Christmas Lights in December. One of the few non-bulky, fairly attractive, in-wall timers that can handle my 1-1/2 HP pool pump (most only handle up to 1 HP), and easy enough for my wife to manually turn on an off when needed. As I said, I had one of these installed 25 years ago, and recently on occasion, the trip pegs (non-replaceable) started to not always trip the timer. But hey, who can complain, I got 25 years out of it, so I replaced it with the same model this week, and it's working 100% again. If you need one with multiple on and off settings, I thin the 1020 model has this, though not as attractive as the 1010 model.

Best price and quick delivery
Excellent product. I replaced my existing Intermatic E1010 24-Hour 15-Amps Timer after 30 years. This was the exact same model. The environment in Las Vegas NV is hard on everything, so I was happy to find the same on Amazon. I ordered it on Friday and received it on Sunday. All parts were in the package, it was easy to install and fit the opening exactly. Works perfectly.

Forget it. Stay away
Timer didn't work. I'm sending it back for a refund. I've since gone to a local supply house and purchased from there and it didn't work either. They replaced it and that one didn't work either. Of the three I have installed, they either did not keep time, did not turn off lights, turned off but did not turn on lights, ran intermittently, switch did not operate when dial was turned manually. The push button always worked but what's the point in that? Stay away from this brand / model number. Clearly there is some manufacturing problem.

reliable, but needs space.
My first one lasted 20 years. Be certain there is ample space behind the unit. Clustered wires pressing against the unit can disable the on/off switch. I saved the old one as all it needs is a replacement clock motor to work.
