Every spring our beloved Robins are busy building nests then laying blue eggs. The egg itself, like a seed, is a symbol of the potential of life, symbolic of loved ones, and/or of new beginnings. Back in ancient times the egg was a symbol of the universe, of creation, and in some cultures, luck wealth, and health. Locket is 1 & ¼" (32mm), can be embellished inside with text, graphics, or picture. High quality 18" chain with a 4" additional detachable extender chain. Also a neat thing is you can do this--> slide locket off necklace chain, and onto extender chain and use as a key chain, or purse (strap) ornament, (when not wearing pendant locket around neck). And/or use 4" extender chain with other necklaces too! Nests are meticulously & skillfully hand woven using four different wires, in browns, gold, & copper, & in different thicknesses, to provide contrast & dimension (much like in the wild). A highly detailed bird charm hovers over nest- totally optional to add to chain, & no additional cost (**you also have the choice of a brown OR a silver bird). ~ I have made hundreds, & absolutely enjoy making these symbolic nests, almost as my customers enjoy wearing this endearing keepsake. It is an extremely soothing crystal and is believed to calm the brain and nervous system. It is formed in deep-sea igneous rocks that once cooled very slowly. The most important source of amazonite is Madagascar, & Australia.
