Our mom's Dell Inspiron 3471 i3 only came with 4 GB RSM. The new Windows 11 updates really require a minimum of 16 GB RAM. To take advantage of dual channel processing, I replaced her old 4 GB and 8GB RAM from the only 2 RAM slots on the motherboard with these 2 16 GB for a total of 32 GB. They have the same specs as the RAM sold by Dell for $169 per stick of 16GB DDR4 UDIMM RAM, so this was a much better price point for 32 GB. I didn't fully seat the RAM on the first reboot, so the tower blinked orange instead of powering on as the PC indicated "Hey, I need some RAM here!" Once it was fully seated and clicked into place, the PC detected the RAM right away and was up and running. It now boots faster than I have ever seen it do in 4 years. Prior to the RAM upgrade, her PC was painfully slow with the dreaded Windows hourglass every few seconds. I also cloned the old 1TB HDD to a 2TB SSD and now the computer runs like it should. It's almost like a brand new PC without the high price tag.

Good memory installed in a Optiplex 7050 back when memory was cheap. I cant even imagine what it costs now. Glad I did this back before the toilet p- -err -memory shortage. Doubling my memory made that machine smooth out and purr like a kitten.

Overall I'm actually impressed by this brand Teamgroup, although the ram modules I purchased weren't up to my performance standards. -1 The modules are fully functioning and are as advertised, but under load they skip and hesitate with less than 50% intermediate data processing. -i recommend pairing these with 2x8gb 3200 @ CL16-18. The hesitations and skips stop with the high speed ram sitting in front of the process loads. The two 16gb modules are sitting in the back to take care of large volume processes and work well enough to do so. Overall I've been fairly happy with this setup, but leaves room for definite improvement. Teamgroup has been a go-to for budget PC parts and if I had to purchase again, I would verify that the timing tables were better.

This is a great brand that is not as well known as they should be. Very reliable products. At much better prices. I have used team group in my last 4 builds exclusively. They have been bullet proof!

I bought these for my son who is upgrading his computer. He says they work great!

I've been using two of these memory sticks now for three years and have had zero problems. Stable operation with no hiccups and they connected straight to the mother board. Hard to beat for the money.

This product was described as coming with win 11 pro however it only had win 10 pro. Also it didnt come with wifi installed but came with a disk that I had to install myself. Not happy.
