My PS4 Slim gets very hot during long gaming — will this external cooling fan reduce temperature noticeably?

Yes. This fan features 3 external fans with auto temperature-control technology. The fans adjust speed based on the console's heat level, increasing airflow for intensive games and reducing speed when temperatures drop.

Does this PS4 Slim cooling fan require a separate power supply or adapter?

No. The fan is powered via the PS4 Slim's USB port, so no separate power adapter or power source is required. Simply connect the fan to your PS4 Slim and it operates automatically as the console runs.

Is this cooling fan compatible with the original PS4 or PS4 Pro?

This cooling fan is designed specifically for the PS4 Slim console. It is not compatible with the original PS4 or the PS4 Pro, which have different chassis shapes and vent layouts requiring model-specific cooling accessories.

Loud to start with

The fan worked great at start nice and quiet. However now it still works just very loud at start then quiets down. Annoying but does the job.
