I recently injured my knee and was told to ice on regular basis along with a brace, etc. I chose these packs because they looked like a good size. They are HUGE. They freeze quickly and stay cold for an amazingly long time - well over an hour in ambient room temp. They are covered in velvety fleece on one side and a heavy clear vinyl on the other. The pad has three zones and you can move the gel beads by pushing the pad. One important note: they are not only HUGE in measurement, but they are VERY heavy. I ultimately went back and ordered the smaller version for weight and size. They smell very faintly of sweet lavender - very pleasant. You can freeze, refrigerate or warm in the micro following the directions. They look very well made and I am sure these will last for a long time, however, having said all of that, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. Also, I never receive free products or discounts other than what is offered to all shoppers for any product. My reviews are 100% honest and my opinion of my true experience with each item reviewed.

After shoulder surgery it was big enough to cover the area and to wrap around arm. This wrap kept the cold and was flexible enough to contact all areas. The two sides allowed me to go over light shirt or put on skin. So far after a month of daily use it is holding up. UPDATE 5 days after able to send back the pic shows tape since the beads and liquid are starting to fall out Perfect but of no value when it won’t last 35 days

Got this for my mom and she seamed to like it. She is going to use it on her shoulder and just for cold.

Lasted 4 months before a small hole came open. Worked GREAT after being in freezer just long enough to be cold and pliable, would be cold all night. I used this to rest my ankles and treat achiles issues. I will try another one, unfortunately didn't last as long as I liked.

Dry nice ice pack. Large. Would cover your back. I think , well made . it was 22$.

This ice pack would have received 5 stars if only it had stayed together! The bottom seam came loose and the little beads went everywhere! Fortunately, we had some duck tape in the house, so I was able to close the seam and salvage what I could of the beads. It is a great concept, but only if it stays together and can work! I had spinal surgery and really needed for this thing to work:( Again, we thankfully had duck tape:) Update the next day: the whole thing is useless! One of the center seams came loose and a lot of the beads fell out. It is now in the trash and I am without an icepack that I need post surgery. $25.00 down the drain! Update: I tried to contact the seller following the contact directions on the site. I received an email from someone else with the same address stating that they get emails for this company but it is not affiliated with them. I called Amazon customer service and asked for a refund. The lady said that they couldn't issue a refund but they offered to replace the icepack for free. I accepted the offer with the hope that the new one will work better. I received it the next day. However, the lady said that I did not need to return the broken one because it was leaking. Fortunately, I had not yet discarded it because I received an email the same day that said that they have accepted my request for a return...they provided a UPS pickup option, but, as I was going to be near UPS anyway today, I brought it there and returned it. I received a refund for the purchase price plus sales tax, minus exactly $4.99...my guess is that is for return shipping. Being a Prime member I have never had to pay for return shipping on any item. At this point, I just want closure to this. I will give the new icepack a fair try...when it isn't broken it works well for cold...I have never used it for heat. After I use it for the next month (March) I will update this review as to whether or not the new icepack holds up well. If it breaks before then I will update the review sooner. It seems to be sold by a small company so I hope that it will work! I always like to see small businesses succeed, but only if their products are good. Most of the other reviews are positive, so I hope that the original one that I received was just a lemon!...Update March 30. So far this ice pack is working well. There have been no holes in the seams like there were in the first one. Hopefully, that one was just a defective one. This one is doing it’s job!

It's super big! Im getting a Total Knee Replacement and am sure it'll be perfect for my recovery.

Developed a hole and beads and goo are spilling everywhere. Only had this for 6 months and 9 days. Up until then it was nice. I wonder what the warranty on this is.

Really happy with this icepack. In fact, I liked it so much, I bought the 2 smaller ones and the back version as well. The larger size means that this ice pack holds the cold for longer. The ice beads are a welcome upgrade from a regular gel pack as they allow more flexibility for the pack to be molded around limbs or other non-flat areas. Seams are well stitched and the fabric side is soft and fuzzy.

To relieve back pain.

This is an effective cold pad for pain relief and keeps cold for several hours but it is heavy which is not ideal.

I looked hard for a product that would get very cold stay cold and had soft corners. This fit the bill perfectly you can shift the beads around from each of the quadrants and moved around to whatever body part needs therapy. I highly recommended and I found it very good value for the money.
