Hello I first purchased 2 boxes of the oak colored parquet on August 2019 to do my stairs going into the basement. 12 steps totaling about 40 tiles. Unfortunately my hubby mixed them up with my traffic master vinyl tiles which i had spares for my kitchen floor for last 10 years. My kitchen tiles exact same pattern but the Achim were just a tad darker but u cannot tell due to lighting on stairs. Problem now is that all my spare tiles had kept from traffic master FOR WORN ONES ON KITCHEN FLOOR he used them ON STAIRS WITH MY ACHIM TILES so now i cant replace the damaged ones THAT SOMETIMES POP UP OCCASIONALLY anymore as needed. And the Traffic Master ones are now discontinued years ago. Traffic masters were 1.8mm thick yes little thicker than the Achim brand which 1.2mm. Yes Achim little thinner but the pattern, finish and texture almost identical Achim little more shinier which I do like. So on April 18 2020 I ordered 8 more boxes of them for my kitchen floor and additional 1 box today for my kitchen floor as i love the color texture and the price and will also now have extra Achim should some need replacing. Traffic Master equivalent i bought 10 years ago lot of tiles are still in good shape but did not ever have a little sheen where the ACHIM ones do. . My original cost for Achim last August was $16.00 for box of 20 (12 inch by 12 inch squares tiles) now few days ago April 13th they are only $13 for box 20 (12 by 12 Inches square tiles) so basically even though ACHIM states last 5 years (warranty) im confident if cleaned properly and installed correctly they like my Traffic Master will last much longer. i am very very happy with them not just the $3.00 price drop per box just the tiles in general. So yesterday April 14 2020 i ordered 1 more box for my kitchen. This box is the back up box in case for some reason one tile or a few need replacing. Cant wait to put them down. Hope they are all the same dye lot. I will text company to ask if all same dye lot too just to be on safe side or can check when order arrives which is in 3 days.. You cannot beat the quality, color or the price for these tiles. works out like 87C per square foot. I did check the home deport and menards store but their prices are runnning like $2.30 per square foot. Which is expensive should i have bought them from a home store. Way too pricey for me. My hubby says they were great to work with when he applied them to my stairs and the traffic master ones too EVEN THO THEY SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN USED ON MY STAIRS. i GAVE HIM 2 BOXES OF THE ACHIM ESPECAILLY FOR THE STAIRS SO ALL WOULD BE THE SAME BUT HE DIDNT NOTICE MUCH DIFF DUE TO LIGHTING SO DECIDED TO USE UP THE TRAFFIC MASTER ONES TOO. OMG. SO NOW I HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO DO MY KITCHEN FLOOR ACHIM (WHICH I LOVE) SO MY KITCHEN FLOOR AND ALL WAY DOWN STAIRS TO BASEMENT ALL MATCH.. HUBBY SAID they stuck very well. Yes little tiny tiny bit glue came out just a couple but once dried OR EVEN WET THE EXCESSS GLUE AND TRUST ME ITS NOT A LOT. JUST LITTLE TINY SPOTS can easily be removed with stuff called UN-DU which removes any glue, adhesive stickers gum tape tar crayon grease etc.from anything. awesome product which is also available for sale on Amazon or you can purchase from like a Hobby Lobby or Michael Stores. so the little overages of adhesive coming from just a couple of my newly put down tiles were EASILY EASILY REMOVED WITH THE UN-DU REMOVER STUFF. EVEN TAKES OFF STICKERS ON CAR WINDOWS OR ANY STICKER FOR THAT MATTER FROM ANYTHING. Back to the Tiles. I love the OAK PARQUET color and cant wait to put them down in my kitchen once they arrive IN APPROX 3 DAYS. I will of course (although states can put over existing vinyl tile I CHOOSE NOT TOO since its a smooth surface ON OLD TILES and the new tiles may move so I am pulling up al the old tiles from kitchen floor so i have a blank canvas so to speak. Better safe than sorry. . I would have stayed with traffic master but my husband used the only box i had back up box i had left for spares for my kitchen floor when some of the older tiles showed signs of wear. I used heat gun to get old tile off and simply input new tile. Now of course cant do that anymore. So whole new floor now. In addition Traffic Master Oak Parquet i found upon searching for another spare box are actually discontinued and have been so for years. Really sucked. But they are over 10 years old. And Traffic Master has nothing similar to the ones i had NOR THE COLOR I NEEDED and they are discontinued 10+ years ago as I found out when went to buy them as they are over 10 years old on my floor. Probably down on my floor 13 years. Still look great on my floor so when i saw the ACHIM yes little thinner, same pattern and near exact color they were a PERFECT choice. ACHIM says 5 year limited warranty but they will last much longer than that I beleive trust me. My traffic masters had 10 year warranty and they have been down 13 years and to date only had to replace like 5 of them out of the 140 on the floor. Shame Traffic Master discontinued that pattern and color but in hindsight I AM SO LUCKY TO HAVE FOUND THE ACHIM BRAND SAME EXACT STYLE, COLOR NEARLY SAME JUST A TAD BIT DARKER BUT CAN HARDLY TELL AND FOR A FRACTION OF THE COST. ONCE KITCHEN FLOOR DONE AND MY 6 OF 12 STEPS INTO BASEMENT GET THE ACHIM TILES ON (YES I AM A PERSON WHO HAS TO PULL OFF THE TRAFFIC MASTER FROM MY STAIRS EVEN THO NOT NOTICEABLE BUT I KNOW ITS DIFFERENT AND PUT THE ACHIM TILES DOWN SO THEY ALL MATCH. i WILL UPLOAD THE KITCHEN FLOOR PICS ONCE COMPLETED IN THE MEANTIME HERE IS MY STAIRS. FIRST 8 STAIRS HAVE THE ACHIM TILES AND OTHER 4 STAIRS MY SPARE TRAFFIC MASTER TILES THAT MY HUBBY SHOULD NEVER HAVE PUT DOWN BUT HE WASN'T THINKING AND SAID HE COULDN'T TELL THE DIFF IN COLOR CAUSE OF THE LIGHTING TO HIM THEY LOOKED THE SAME. i SAID YES BUT THE TEXTURE IS A LITTLE DIFF BUT HE SAID DIDN'T NOTICE THAT EITHER. I GAVE HIM 2 BOXES OF THE ACHIM TO DO THE STAIRS AND THE LEFT OVER TRAFFIC MASTER ONES AS THEY WERE ALL IN ONE BIG CARDBOARD BOX. lol. i WILL KNOW BETTER NEXT TIME. . IT NEVER DAWNED ON HIM THAT 2 BOXES OF ACHIM WERE EXACTLY ENOUGH TILES FOR THE STAIRS AND BRAND NEW. NOPE, SO HE USED BOTH. NO BIG DEAL ALL FIXABLE. BLESS HIS HEART FOR TRYING TO DO THE RIGHT THING. SO TO FINISH MY POST I TOTALLY RECOMMEND THESE ACHIM OAK PARQUET TILES. i DID LIKE THE RED MAHOGLONY BEAUTIFUL COLOR BUT WONT MATCH MY CABINETS OR FURNITURE IN KITCHEN. . I CAN DO MY WHOLE BACK KITCHEN ON 7 BOXES OF ACHIM TILES 140 TILES AND HAVE 2 SPARE BOXES LEFT OVER. OF COURSE 1/2 BOX I WILL NEED TO USE TO FIX MY 8 STAIRS BUT THATS NO BIG DEAL. I CANT WAIT . TOTALLY RECOMMEND THESE TILES TO ANYONE I LOVE THEM FOR WHAT I NEED THEM FOR AND THE PRICE WELL $13 FOR 20 TILES THAT IS JUST UNHEARD OF. SO LOOK IN A FEW WEEKS FOR MY KITCHEN FLOOR MAKEOVER.AND AGAIN IF YOU GET LITTLE BIT GLUE OUT OF THE SIDES WHEN PUTTING TILES DOWN SIMPLY GET DRY CLOTH AND USE UN-DU REMOVER IT WILL REMOVE THE EXCESS SMALL BITS GLUE WITHOUT ANY HARD WORK OR SCRUBBING. I buy these tiles all the time because they have great designs and are always priced right. I use them for temporary spaces that need new flooring. I always get compliments on how they look, and the owners are happy with the changes. The last one I used is still there after 10 years without complaints. My only caution would be that the top coating does not do well with any chemicals. Liquid pump hairspray fell by accident on 2 of the tiles, and it's beautiful sheen came off. The one in the kitchen is okay with food spills that wipe off easily. But using anything harsh to clean might rub off the top coating. Otherwise they look great and are so easy to install. Have fun choosing a design!

These tiles are great, extremely sticky, very pretty and easy to install. In my case, covering a hideous green/yellow linoleum floor, I learned very quickly that these do not adhere if you have divets in what you're covering, no matter how clean and dry you get it. It was a temporary solution and I'll be redoing the kitchen soon, so it's not the end of the world, but I'd be disappointed it wasn't spelled out somewhere if this weren't the case.

i didn’t expect it to be a solid floor option because of the budget cost, but it’s simply bad. I never write reviews, even for bad product, but this one is an exceptional landfill option. I know you get what you pay for but this shouldn’t even be advertised as a floor product. Lets start: 1. It doesn’t stick so you will need adhesive 2. It gets stained extremely easy so adhesive wont be easy to wash off when you are done 3. It breaks easily on bends the way a wet cardboard does 4. Why on earth would they make squares different sizes? Its not easy to mix and match, its quite a nightmare as a matter of fact and its because the squares are not equal size and even when you manage to get it lined up in one direction you are most certainly screwed in another. 5. I dropped a plastic vacuum cleaner on it accidentally from 2’ height and it left a dent, this material has zero abrasive resistance. My conclusion: If you want the floor that will last you 2 to 3 months tops after which it will be a challenge to maintain as it will easily get stained it will start to warp, peel off, cheap, break and get dented. You will waste significant amount of time trying to make it actually look like a square checkerboard due to Inability of a manufacturer to actually make squares that there are of equal size. This product is awful on every level in terms of build quality durability, ease of install, use, and maintenance. It should go straight to landfill another example of decent marketing and really bad product. I have missed the return window by a week. I still have five full boxes left after installing about seven. i’ll be happy to give it to anyone for free otherwise it’s going to garbage where it belongs. Now I’m left with ripping this garbage off and spending the money to buy either a vinyl roll or use other flooring methods that will cost more as they probably should, if you want somewhat lasting.

They look good but are a little cheaper quality than I thought and not enough adhesive so lay down with liquid nail as well

I love these! I wish I had a bathroom worth taking a photo of- because these tiles are BEAUTIFUL. Unfortunately I live in a rural homestead. We have an 'indoor outhouse' and it's anything but photo-worthy. With that being said, these new tiles are SO much better than the old ply-wood floors we originally had. Ever since moving into my home I've been devising a plan to renovate our bathroom. Without running water the bathroom is literally just a toilet (and a cat litter box), but that doesn't mean it doesn't deserve to be semi-pretty. With that being said having actual tile shipped to rural Alaska is practically impossible and ridiculously expensive. I needed an alternative. That's when I started looking up linoleum-style stick-on tiles. I really loved the appearance of these, so I snatched them up. I bought four boxes, but for my 6' x 6' bathroom, I only needed 1 and 1/2. The tiles came in great condition. They appeared exactly as they do in the Amazon product picture. They are made up of faux tan, brownish red, and gray tiles. There is gray grooving around the tiles, which helps match them up to the other squares. Once all of the squares are laid, they really do look as though they are one big project- rather than multiple small 12" squares. The wood in my bathroom was quite rotted and old. This wasn't our house originally and the last owners had flooded it multiple times by letting the outhouse septic tank fill up. Needless to say the wood was disgusting, peeling, and dirty. It was old and rotted. I went into this project with a lot of doubt. I doubted the tiles would stick. I doubted they would cover the plywood decently. I doubted they would look nice. I ended up being pleasantly surprised. The tiles have a paper backing that, once peeled off, leaves a very sticky surface. I added a bit of Elmer's wood glue to each of the corners, and then laid the tiles down, one by one, starting in one corner and working my way out into the room. I started first by lining one wall, and then working by way to the wall adjacent. This helped ensure that 99% of the tiles aligned correctly, and only the ones lining the last wall would need to be cut. The tiles were very easy to cut. I cut them with my kid's craft scissors. They cut really easily and neatly. Once all the tiles were laid, I let them dry for 6 hours before using them. It's now been 2 months and the tiles are still holding up very well. I was them weekly with a steamer mop. The color isn't fading. My 4 cats, 2 dogs, and 3 ferrets clawed-feet have not left any scratches on the floors. They look as good as new. The color hides dirt marks very well- which is nice, because I don't need to clean muddy paw-prints as often as I would with other colored-floors. None of the tiles are peeling up. All are laying flat. And even with our cabin shifting in the spring melt (and our floor slightly bubbling up), these tiles look very nice and show no signs of cracking or spacing. I'm so so happy with this purchase. I renovated by entire bathroom for $30.00 and I couldn't be happier! I would recommend using Elmer's Wood Glue to secure the corners (it only costs about $10.00 a bottle- and I only used about 1/8 of the bottle for my entire bathroom). But aside from that one small additional purchase, these are a great bathroom-renovating alternative-to-tile that is easy on the pocket-book.

First, thank you to previous customers for submitting pictures so I could see how the tiles looked in real life. Definitely game changer. Reasonably priced and easy to install. Needed to do an update to my bathroom which was way past time for an update. Old flooring as you can see in pictures was done. I didn't do much, no extra adhesive purchased. I just swept the floor really good, took backing off tile and then laid it down. That's it. I'm no Bob-The-Builder by any means and this was an easy job to do(now looking at other floors in my house to update). Cutting and customizing the tiles to fit awkward areas was a breeze. I initially was trying to use a razor blade but felt like the tile was easy enough to use scissors and sure enough it worked. Cutting through the tile to me was the equivalent of cutting a bendable magnet. It made it easy to fit small pieces around the toilet. The tiles were not stiff that I couldn't arrange them. They had a lot of give. But be cautious as if you bend it too much it will break at the bent spot. I really don't have anything much to say bad about it for now as it has only been installed less then 24hrs, but already such an improvement. It feels amazing under my bare feet, looks exactly like the real life pictures other posted. I guess it looked a little brighter in real life versus stock photos. Aligning the tiles was a breeze, and if I need to pick up the tile to rearrange it that was not difficult either. I used chatGBT to help me figure out how many boxes to get(just uploaded a few pictures of my bathroom and it estimated how many boxes to get so I didn't run out during install. I have a box(20 tiles)and about 6 tiles left and I just have to complete the edges of the bathroom, so I will have more then enough to complete the job. I'm a visual learner so hopefully my before/after picture can show how it looks. Trust me this was way easier to install then I thought. Would go with this brand again, and will for my next floor upgrade.
