Not designed for deep sea charter fishing
This is one hell of a reel bought this for a deep sea fishing charter deep in the ocean came in late unboxed it and was disappointed with the size no bigger then a pike reel well every one got a good laugh so I decided to throw 100 pound test line on it and take it out in the deep blue and I'll tell you what I'm impressed with how this did it kept up with all the others twice it's size never burnt out never fell apart she stood up to the fight every one on the charter took back what they said and for the money it's a good product just keep to local spots for fishing and you will be happy but like I said I'm very impressed

So Far so Good
Bought this reel and a Tsunami Rod last week and fished for Cod on October 13th 2024 out of Gloucester MA. Worked great. Spooled it up with 40 pound braid as we were fishing in 350' jigging for Cod, Pollock, haddock, and Cusk. Caught a 14 pound white hake and the reel and rod setup worked great. That is a good reel for the money. Going again this Friday and will see after 3 12 hour trips how it holds up. So far, A+

Cutest little thing you've ever seen no way you could real in a fish with it
I mean I'm sure it works but when I got it it was just so tiny and cute. I couldn't put that in water it looked like a baby.
